Yamaha Warrior ATVI have a Yamaha Warrior ATV and just love it. I've never had such a tough little ATV for this kind of price. Though it does lack some of the gauges and other flairs that I enjoy on my other ATVs, this little beast will take a beating and come back for more. I certainly recommend the Yamaha Warrior ATV to anyone looking for a sturdy machine that will get the job done. I've used my Yamaha Warrior ATV around the ranch and let me tell you, this sweet little machine will take more abuse than any of the other ATVs that I've owned. If you'd like to get some idea of what of what other people think of their Yamaha Warrior ATVs, check out the Yamaha Warrior ATV section of Epinions. You can find this section at http://www.epinions.com/auto-ATV-All-Yamaha-Yamaha_Warrior/display_~reviews . Epinoins rates the Yamaha Warrior ATV at just under four and a half stars. I would have to agree with that rating. Like I said, the little thing is super tough, but it does lack some features that many people may feel are necessary for an ATV. As far as typical cons mentioned about the Yamaha Warrior ATV, the thing doesn't have any gauges or thumb throttle. There is also no hand brush guards. That being said, the low-end torque has helped me out of tons of bad situations. The power reverse is what it's all about! This isn't the quickest of ATVs, but top speed is certainly well within the limits of 'great!". I've been clocked doing just over 50 mph on my Yamaha Warrior ATV. Though the thing isn't quick to get up to speed, it does have throttle to spare. When I am going about 50 mph, there's still more than ½ throttle left to go. The swing arm ground clearance could be a little better, a most users on Epinions seem to agree with as well. But the good side of a low swing arm ground clearance is that the center of gravity is also lower. And who wants a high center of gravity on an ATV? Not I, that's for sure. Plus, clearance can be modified if you see the need, with higher or lower tires and rim combinations. Another smaller complaint that I have about the Yamaha Warrior ATV is that at high RPMs the engine does tend to vibrate a bit. But this is not entirely uncommon, and I can live with it. My Yamaha Warrior ATV has never had problems staring up on cold mornings. I can't say the same thing about other ATVs I've owned or driven. All in all, I think the Yamaha Warrior ATV is a fine all round ATV with many more pros than cons. But don't take my word for it, try one yourself. Before buying a new ATV, I'll go and rent one for a couple of days to try it out. I suggest you do the same thing before committing to a purchase. |
