Honda 300 ATVAs far as Honda 300 ATVs go, the Four Trax 4x4 is the most popular four wheel drive ATV in America. These powerful ATVs are rated as utility ATVs and run between $5000 and $6000. I got mine for $5475 and It's been worth every penny. I was spending some time in Vermont with my family. Much of this time was spent riding ATVs with my brother and his wife. I, as well as my wife, became totally hooked and decided we just wouldn't be happy until we had some ATVs of our own. As it turned out, ATV s were just perfect for our lifestyle too. We love being outdoors and going for long walks in the woods. Now we could do al of our outdoor activities using our new Honda 300 ATVs. The thing I like about these ATVs is that though they are very powerful, you don't feel overpowered by the machine. IT handles very well on the roughest, rockiest terrain. This is certainly a plus, as the land around here is very rocky. It's nice to have constant four wheel drive too. I get tired of having to switch back and forth with other four wheel drive ATVs. With the Honda 300 ATV I can just ride right through any mud hole or other tricky terrain without worrying about getting bogged down or stuck. I certainly recommend this ATV to those of you that don't feel you must run out and get one of the huge 500's, as those machines are very expensive compared to the Honda 300 ATV. This is a reasonably priced machine that has great power and handling. Also, this is a great ATV for beginners. I've taken several newbies out on different kinds of ATVs, and the Honda 300 ATV has been one of the best ATVs for new drivers. I've also owned a Honda TRX300. Back in 96 when I was looking for a new quad, I found the TRX300 and was stunned. I think I paid $4300.00 plus tax, and a few more in finance charges. Every day I rode it I knew it was money well spent. I liked to ride in a place where more often than not we would run up on someone that thought we shouldn't be there. What proved most challenging was a detour that took us through water. This is where my Honda 300 ATV would shine. It ran a mere 50 mph and took a while to get up to speed, but in the woods is where it shined. Many of the times I got it stuck. I was pulling someone else out, without a winch. One day I even drove it off a small cliff, right into five feet of water. I remember thinking that if I couldn't drive it right out on the other side I might not get it out, but the machine didn't fail me at all. The other side of the water hole had a 45 degree bank and was all wet that nothing was even said to me about the leap. It was almost as if it had been planned. I've never had to do more maintenance than oil and filters, it never went to the shop one time. |
